If you're interested in foreign citizenship by descent, Rich Roots Genealogy can assist in that process.

Rich has experience in assisting with dual citizenship applications from beginning to end, as well as with specific document procurement.

U. S. Documents: Need a certified copy of a naturalization record or a ship manifest? What about a 1930 census record or an elusive divorce record? No idea what an apostille is, or how to get one? Rich has years of experience obtaining various American documents from numerous agencies, and can assist in your document acquisition, no matter which country you are applying for citizenship with.

Italy: The dual citizenship rules for Italy are in constant motion right now, leaving many individuals no longer eligible. Rich has his ear to the ground for any and all updates. For those who remain eligible, or for individuals who wish to gather documentation for possible future eligibility, Rich can assist with ordering, correcting, and obtaining the proper certifications for each record, obtaining translations, and preparing you for your appointment and/or court case. Rich obtained his Italian citizenship in 2015. Note: Due to the constantly-changing Italian citizenship rules, Rich has only limited ability to take on new Italian citizenship clients.

Ireland: If you have Irish-born parents or grandparents, you are likely eligible for Irish citizenship. Rich used to live in Dublin and loves Irish citizenship cases!

Other Countries: Rich has provided U. S. document assistance for individuals who were obtaining citizenship from the United Kingdom, Germany, Trinidad and Tobago, Czechia, Hungary, and others. He has limited knowledge on the rules regarding citizenship eligibility for these countries.

Rich can also provide guidance in the form of a research consultation.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Rich on my dual citizenship request. I have said several times that I could not have navigated the process without him! He has vast knowledge that has been vital to getting my passport but also fascinating for learning about my ancestry.
